Sample sites

Im searching for some atmosphere samples like rain and thunder and that kind of thing anyone know where i can pick up some free samples, i seem to be scouring the internet and not finding anything.

Can't remember what the quality's like, but I think the first of these sites allows you to search by sample quality and bit rate

yep... sign up to the freesound project... you will need to look no further for ambience/textural sounds...
best I've ever found, although some of the files on there are pretty bloody massive!
