Hey, dubsteppers.
Did a little thing, far from pure but dubstep is in the recipe.
It is all wrong but in a nice way. I guess.

Now, I am fully aware that the production and mix are hideous, so that is where your help would be appreciated.
What is the main problem with it? First, bass, is it too subby no medium range, is that it? Kick way too loud? The compression (there is none)? Am I completely deaf (not far from the mark)?
If you feel like commenting, with as little or as much detail (or slagging off) as you want, thank you.

I think it may be your description of the track.. puts people off even listening.. I'll try to remember to lend it an ear when I get home tonight.

You may be right, next time it's gonna be "Mala, Loefah and Coki, it's all over for you"
Thanks, let me know.

Okay. I managed a moment to listen to your track this morning and you're right in that it is very different, but you're wrong in thinking that the production is hideous. I listen to a very diverse range of genres and this track isn't far off from what I hear broadcast on say.. soma fm.
My only composition critique would be that there's not much evolution, things stay fairly similar all the way through - keep in mind, I've only heard it once.. your changes and dynamics may just be subtle.
As far as the mix, you'll need someone with a better mastering ear than myself, but right away the thing that sticks out is the kick. It sucks. It reminds me of my band days, when I used to muffle my drum kit by stuffing a comforter inside.
All in all dood, you got something here, something you may find better recieved from ambient/downtempo producers - as it's a bit of a stretch for the dubsteppers.
Cheers.

Retinoise,
You know, the kick was already bothering me, mainly because it is too damn loud, but I also agree about the sound, sucky. Will try something more solid/dry, and while I am on it search for a satisfying bass sound as well.
Regarding structure, I am quite happy actually, maybe because I had never really managed to finish a track before.
Cheers and thanks a lot for the comments.
