Any info about these guys.
Picked up their new joint in Blackmarket. Very, very heavy. Love the fact that one side of the label explains why...
"I get my S**t cut at Transmission"

They are a mastering house and now a label, not a group. The trakcs on the release are Skream vs. Distance - Wisemen and Distance - Travels.

Nice one mate. Very phat cuts indeed. No great surprise Distance is involved, although I didn't recognise the style's as his. Always good to be made aware.

Tarvels is pretty obviously Distance style but when I first heard Wisemen on Rinse I didn't have a clue who it was. Good stuff, looking forward to the next Ringo release!

yeh man
jason transition said he wasnt happy with the mixdowns they sent him though... i can imagine that he's not gonna want to put anything out that he doesnt feel is complete grade a, mastered product, so we'll just have to hope - assumptions remix is heavy
does anyone know what assumptions original is?

Wise Men sounds absolutely massive. Superb cut, and the tune really deserves it. It's not a banger of a tune by any means, but it still drops hard.
I totally see what they mean about assumptions remix though.. you can never tell totally whether it's down to the tune or due to an old muddy dubplate, but every time I've heard it played out it doesn't have the same impact as most other tunes played.

Just to clear up a few points
We are aiming for a November release fo Ringo002
Ringo 001 is an unnamed track that i was not happy with the mixes of and decided to shelf.
I think we are gonna go with ''Assumptions remix'' By Skream for 003A and ''Clock watching'' By LD for the AA side.
