setting a subwoofer up???

hey guys, having major issues with a sub i just got hold of. I have a motu 828mk2 with mackie moniters going into left and right out. My sub is a single s/pdif line, where and how do i connect this up so it works with my motu??? Ive tried everything, anyone have any experience with subs and motus lol, safe

is your sub active or passive?

are you sure its a sp/dif connection? seems weird to be that it would connect using this connection

i think so, it fits into my spdif in and out.

what sound card are you using? any mixing desks? etc?

again sp/dif shouldn't work, its a digital connection as opposed to analogue which is what you want.

I'd get a phono/rca to jack cable (you could get a single phono cable and then get a phono to jack adapter) and stick it into one of those many outputs you have on teh back of the 828,

should do the trick :wink:
