Hello

Post by bass_junkie » Sun Jul 05, 2009 12:14 pm

HI

I am a noob to the dubstep scene but a long lover of all things d'n'b. But don't let that put you off cos I enjoy all types of music as long as the beats and bass are top notch.

Just been listening to some of the recent mixes/podcasts and getting to know the tunes and producers. Most of the dark heavy stuff is amazing...not to keen on the UKG influenced tunes though.

So can someone become my Jedi Master and teach me the ways of the dubstep force. To give you a hint of my tastes and the producers i am feeling...(although these are just a selection):

Skream
Emalkay
Chasing Shadows
Nero

So any other recommendations new or old...the dirtier the better

:D

Bar9 is one to check out if you like the filthstep of Nero. Try some Caspa too, but some of his tunes are a hit or miss..

DZ is another one to check. Kromestar has a nice selection of tunes and bass.

I'll leave other recommendations to other people.

Also check out the mix section of the forum. Try to look for mixes with a tracklist - so you know what tunes to look for !

Thanks...will look them up.

To be honest...I got listening to dubstep thanks to Caspa but having explored deeper I have found this genre to be so much more.

Will go thru the mix section when I have more time.
