I'm just getting started with the mixing bit, can you let me know how you were able to separate the vocals for the tracks?

Im dying to start doing somemixes like yours but have no idea how to "pull" the vocals?

Probably a really stupid question but you did a great job I and would appreciate your help.

Thx

you have to find vocal tracks...usually when artists release singles there will be one track with the song, another bring just with the instrumentals...and another with the vocals..and a remix..hopefully that helps you out.

hey man, nice job, i love this kind of shit. "Want Some Crack?" and "Play Doe" both lend themselves perfectly to hip-hop.
If you want acapellas, check out www.acapellas4u.co.uk

If you dig this mix, check out my shit on the forum, I do dubstep/hip-hop mixes as well. I ain't trying to spam, but I posted a mix recently and got no feedback. Just trying to spread the love. More hip-hop more better!

EQ

Just as a heads up, I did not use a single a capella in the mix, it was all EQ'ed so that mainly the vocals would play through. Additionally, all of the mixed tracks are in the same key so any instrumental bleed through would not be too intrusive.

Thanks for the kind words.
