Yeah, this is nice. Was thinking about the similarity between some of FSOL's stuff and Burial. Sure there's a tune up on his myspace with a sample from this in it too.
Look forward to the finished version.

this sounds awesome. nice layered bline, cool shuffly burialesque drums, and those fsol samples are timeless. will be a big tune methinks... nice1!!

Really liking this one, bass is lovely but once it drops it distorts but i am on some bait headphones. The Kick sounds like it would conflict with the sub so you might want to roll that off at about 80-95, it also sounds like its delayed on the beat, i mean i hate it when a tune is robotically quantised but maybe its a bit too loose, the rest of the rhythm is nice, rimshot is sick. All the samples and vocal bits fit it perfectly and i would really like to hear this finished, get on the case!

Great tune!Nice layers!
I always loved'Papua,New Guinea' as it were.I got into FSOL because of that song. And the fact that Dead Can Dance is one of my all time favourite 4AD bands!"Dawn Of The Iconoclast" from 'Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun' is where the vocal bit comes from(you'd be surprised how many producers and DJs have absolutely NO CLUE of that loop's origin),so when I first heard it back in the day,I recognised two things:1.FSOL was more open in sample choices than thier contemporaries, and 2.they had great taste.
Obviously so do you.
Respect!
