http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdTbgx5ZXSk&fmt=18 jesus christ, i've been bobbing my head back and forth and tapping for like 20 straight minutes

while on the matter, what genre is burial, synkro, martyn and all of them anyways? I'm not big on the UK genres...Been in love with this sound for time now but not sure what to start searching to find some more...but that burial and four tet just blew my mind completely...that melody sounds familiar..think I've heard it in a house tune before?

it's like a combo of 2step, dub techno and dubstep.

I'd say moth is pretty much dub techno.

If like those Artists you might wanna check out Clubroot and Lung.

Also, there's a beatport list consisting of about 10 songs that sounds like burial. It contains some really nice tunes.

I agree. I hate when people just argue over what genre a track is instead of enjoying it. I personally don't even know what my music is I just say I make dubstep because a lot of the people in that crowd like it.

I just wanna figure out what this is classed as so I can find more of it.

Currently in the process of playing this 10+ times a day! haha

Some people call it post-garage...I just think of it all as 2step.

Feeling clubroot!

So I'm guessing the genre I'm looking for is 2step?

It's a shame that whenever I search that I get she-male Ciara and her 2000 something shitty hip hop hit

Pretty much, from a rhythmic perspective, anyway.

tbh i think theres probably only like a dozen or so artists doing this sound well (correct me if im wrong), and i imagine most of those have already been named in this thread - so you're probs beter off just searching myspace top friends, maybe last fm
cuz searching for 2 step trying to find stuff like burial or clubroot could take a looong time

i dont think there's anything quite like this track, not even by burial or four tet.

you know those rare times when youre just chillin at home and you put on a tune you've never heard before and its so good you get goosebumps and get so so excited and send it to all your friends who are online and then listen to it like 3 more times from start to finish...

this is how music should be.

9 minutes is strangely a perfect amount of time to space out and come back again

kind of reminds me of orbital
