Post by cosmic revenge » Tue Jul 21, 2009 11:30 pm

being only four years old in 92, i can't say i know much about any of the music zomby pays tribute to on his album. i absolutely love it though, and want some recommendations on some hardcore artists from back in the day

cheers :)

This has a lot of the old school hardcore tapes that people managed to preserve and record with trak listings. Some old school jungle...

As far as Acen goes I have been ending all my dubstep sets with it...you should check the confusion, ha!

bought that when i was at uni and my ex girl friend borrowed and lost it....if you can find 'rave generation' volumes 1 and 2, (had them on tape when they came out in 93 and 94 then recently hunted down the cds again) they're awesome compilations also..

as to where i was in 92, skating around redland estate causing trouble on a pair of bauer turbo's and making the transition from listening to 2 unlimited to the prodigy and proper rave tapes on my walkman..

i can pretty much guarantee that at any given moment in 1992 i wanted to make out with a girl that was wearing doc martens at the time.

92: primus, fishbone, jane's addiction, and a bit of that jungle stuff from englad that you could find on those tapes at that spot in englewood, nj (which, to be fair, sold me my first bad brains tape).

TAPE.
