Fallout 3 or GTA 4

Fallout 3 or GTA 4

I say Fallout 3 anyday its the closest to the perfect game. GTA 4 just feels like all the old GTA's with better graphics.

Fallout 3 is a far more immersive experience in my opinion. I think GTA just pips it when it comes to DLC tho...

gta4 was so disappointing after the amazingness that was san andreas

it was like 20 steps backwards just for better graphics. fuck that i want to jetpack to the top of a building and parachute down.

fallout 3 is the best game of the decade by far. so what if the graphics are a tad dull, every single character in the 200 hour plus game is voice acted....thats the kind of detail that draws you in.

plus you know....VATS is amazing

GTA4 has got to be the most disappointing game I've ever played.

Fallout 3 would of been amazing if it had more varied and interesting side quests like wot oblivion did.

Fallout 3 was an amazing game but theres just something about the new GTA that satisfy's me deep inside.

I love the new driving feel and the new weapons feel.

I also love the way its the sign of things to come. The new game will have all the stuff that was missing from this what was essentialy a pilot of the new gta series.

fallout 3 is the best because you literally have thousands of choices

say theres a compound of raiders,

do you become a stealth character sneak in and throw grenades in peoples pockets while pickpocketing ammo from them?

do you run in with an assault rifle?

do you bash them in with a baseball bat with a hockey mask on?

the VATS mode is what takes it to the next level though, its like max payne mixed with RPG style combat

run in, pause combat, select the body part, commence carnage. you can even stop the action and shoot a grenade while the guys throwing it blowing him up

the game is only as good as you allow it to be. people get bored because they dont like exploring, but thats essentially what the game is, one giant wasteland frontier to fuck around in

just play the game man

theres many more choices, not only with the story but how to level up your character, which weapons to focus on, which people to help, which ones to rob, who to kill, who to save etc etc

again, not really a fair comparison of games, gta is an open world shooter, fallout 3 is an FPS/thirdperson/shooter/rpg super hybrid

M.O.H and Halo are nowt like Fallout bro. You gotta play it to believe just how good it is. I got 4 of my mates to start playing this and these are guys who have never played this type of game but they love it and the great thing is we'll be talking about doing/finding stuff and each one has done/found stuff it in a totally different way to the others.
I must have played it for about 100 hours now and still got tonnes to do to finish the game.
You really do have pure choices in how you wanna do stuff, you can be a bad bastard or a complete angel or a bit of both. I've lost count of the times i've felt guilty for doing stuff proper nasty, like the time i stumbled across some old granny selling stuff out of a little shack and did some trade, only to be staring at her and realise that i could really do with the rest of her goodies despite the fact i was skint. So, i just locked on to her face and blew it clean off with a Combat shotgun and robbed the place blind. I come back sometime later and her body's still there and i felt a right tnuc. Same goes for Tenpenny Towers, like a big Hotel with loads of peeps just hangin'. In safety. I'd had a room there for a while and was enjoying my stay but one day some guy said something to me that pissed me off so i killed him and everyone panicked so i just set about killing fuck out of everyone. Took me a bit and was worth it for the copious amounts of goodies they all left behind but i still lie awake at night sometimes thinking maybe i over reacted a little
Seriously though it is a fucking mint game and there's some ace DLC (apart from Operation Anchorage). Try it.

When I were young, and GTA 1 and Fallout 1 were the shiznik, I could only dream of playing these games in full 3d.

GTA has pure adrenaline when ya jack a car, evade a huge police chase and finally roll the car off a cliff to be done with it.

Fallout is dark and twisted with little gems of humour. I've completed the first two games like 10 times because they afford the player so many different things to do and see.

My sole concern now is that to play a game like Fallout or GTA takes litrally weeks of my life away when I could be doing mad shit for real.

Anyway, if you do have the time for these games, play both because they are equally amazing. I remember clearly Liberty City from GTA 3 as if I'd actually been there. Standing on a rooftop watching the sun set is amazing. Likewise, I remember clearly gunning down 5 people in one shot with a mini gun in Fallout

Fallout. The VATS is an awsome idea for those that don't like to get killed while trying to aim. You get people to follow you and kill shit for you. The storyline is awsome, short but awsome. It is all about exploring and fucking shit up. And there are real consequences to the choices you make. Plus there are naked patches.

I was expecting San Andreas but only played GTA4 for about 1/4 of the game and got bored of it. The thing i hated the most was the driving.
