i'm just wondering if you've got permission to be playing any of these tunes, what with DB9 being a dedicated underground music pirating service and all...

most definitely. my brother downloads fuck loads of stuff he shouldn't have from there. what is really funny though is that he used to buy a good 5-10 riddims a month...he's not bought a new record for about a year now since he's been raping the downloads from db9 (dnb, dubstep, etc)
you're a truly fisher price dj if you don't even love your tunes enough to buy them. if you (Asa) are fully legit, then fair enough, but you might want to think about getting a show on a different station because you really will get your reputation shitted on if you're trying to steal peoples' music in a scene of this size.

The things i will be playing are 100% not available on Deep bass nine, i will be playing friends tunes thankyou very much

in all the before mentioned names you can go directly to them and ask yourself.....
I understand the implications surrounding a site like DB9 but beleive me - this is not a showcase of pirated music what so ever. i used to do a show on another site but the stream was like 96kbs which is just stupid..... DB9 have reliable servers and a good audience as a digital radio station....

cool man, i didn't mean to accuse too bluntly but i know what that site's all about and its impossible to justify its existence really, let alone associate yourself with it and think you're helping the dubstep 'scene' in any way.
i know for a fact there's djs on that site playing tunes out that they have NO right to.
i'm not attacking you personally, but sites like DB9 should be taken down in my opinion, and i'm actually quite interested to hear how you think you can justify DB9 and why you put your time and effort into promoting it.
i notice a lot of DB9 torrents have disappeared but still...the cat's out the bag really

ahhh man i completely understand, i make of point of not rinsing that site for obvious reasons - but honestly i understand the stigma attatched to it....
on air now.....
EDIT - as far as justification goes its a funny one, DB9 is not normally spoken about on public forums, because obviously people want to cover their tracks, but for me at this point i only tend to play my own tunes and new exclusives form producers i am friends/in contact with - the times when i will actually use DB9 for 320's is when i have purchased a vinyl and i would like to archive it to a decent standard - i play on vinyl or serato. if you were to have an account there then the profile i have on the site clearly states that i havent been downloading anything for a long time...... tonight's show was primarily to showcase new material,
i understand the moral problem it poses, and could talk about it for hours - but i just want to make it clear that i am not some cheap 'pirate DJ' if that makes sense,
big up to all those who tuned in - apologies for mic problems, same time next week
