Aaron Funk is criminally insane!

Post by kizza2435 » Sun Jul 26, 2009 3:23 pm

I just walked home from Turramurra station listening to Filth by Venetian Snares, and Aaron Funk is without a doubt the most insane beat maker in the world!!!

Ive been a venetian snares fan for ages...but this album...ohh my gosh...

releases too much and no quality control whatsoever. i loved doll doll doll upon release cos it was so fresh... 5000000 albums later and it's the same shit (though not as good)

props to his production skills, but the guy has completely run out of ideas.

HAH, I'm a huge fan of the old Snares shit too. I did a remix of My Sixteen Year Old Girlfriend from Fuck Canada Fuck America a couple of years ago. It's still up on my VIRB at http://www.virb.com/pauliesoccermom if anyone wants a laugh.

Aaron's old stuff was insane... Rorschach Stuffocate tape was killer along with his first few discs... I like some of his later stuff, not so much after ~2004, but Greg Hates Car Culture, Fuck Canada/America etc will always be what snares is about for me

First time i heard Szamár Madár my jaw actually dropped. I had no idea music that intense existed in the electronic music world (this was before i listened to electronic music)
