DnB producer gettin into Dubstep

Post by misk » Wed Nov 01, 2006 8:04 am

Hey guys, ive been producing Drum n bass for a while, and ive recently been turned onto dubsteb by way of a DJ xcision (spelling?) mix a friend of mine had. Ive been lurking here for a while but i thought id introduce myself finally.

Im really feeling forensix, as well as burial. His album is amazing. I really dig the amount of raw emotion that dubstep has the potential to portray, as well as the sheer ambiance of it all.

im currently working on a track. got a nice 16 bar loop going on, but when its done, ill be sure to post it. Thanks for your time, and i look forward to gleaning all the knowledge i can from you guys!

peace,
misk

Ez, good to have you aboard. Seems like a fair trade, I've been nabbing loads of ideas from the Grid - look forward to the tunes.
Hmm....

Ez mate, glad you enjoyed the mix. I came from dnb myself and my taste for dark and dirty definatly carried over. Good to see your enjoying the full spectrum of dubstep all the way to burial. Be sure to send the tune over when its done too :)
