DUBSTEP ON CUBASE?

hi started makin dubstep about a couple of months ago and the only software that was on my computer was cubase.
and ive never heard/seen of anyone who uses cubase for dubstep.
if anyone does please say
i feel like the cubase fish swimming in a sea of reason/ableton sharks :D

I use cubase for dubstep, it's just as good as any other sequencer...just make sure you have the dubstep dongle for it!

alot of people make dubstep in cubase

protocol-X does, i watch him do his thing on cubase sometimes and realise just how held back i am by restricting myself to reason

i do love reason though lol

as far as i know proper dubstep can only be done using ableton, massive and albino. make sure to get an APC as well. other software is obsolete now.

dubstep can be ONLY done on ableton???

Cubase FTW. I can't get on with any other DAW, they can't provide the control that Cubase provides imo :) That said, I would be tempted to try Logic if I was a Mac user, but I've used PCs since I was a sprog so I don't really want to switch at this point in time :)

I use Cubase, never used anything else..........

Kryptic minds use Cubase (actually they might use nuendo..... oh well same thing)

Cubase or Logic all the way...I always stuck with cubase though, logic moved onto Mac before I really though about using it.

But in all honesty, doesn't really matter what you use, its how well you know the software. :wink:
