Been wanting to post this up for quite some time.
And get that "star wars sucks" shit outta here. Here, we will talk about how fucking great it is; and we will not respect those who think it's shit.

man you have got some treats in store with those
empire strikes back is my favourite star wars by quite a long way, its sick
nufffff james bonds to watch! chronology isnt important though, they basically take place in a strange vacuum of time, bond never grows old, but the world develops, as he pieces bare women and deals with bare villains!
die hard one is badboy also

I think it would have been better if they never made the last three (first three episodes). Would have been the best trilogy of all time rather than a mediocre sextology (don't know if that's a word).
The original ones had good stories, actors with prescence, amazing special effects (still think these look really good now considering they're almost 30 years old) and were also exciting due to the fact that sci-fi of that quality hadn't been done before.
The new ones seem to be all cgi and fuck all else and bored the living shit out of me. Did like the use of the Mr Kipling voiceover guy to be the evil emperor in the last one though

Hmm....

Star wars is the tits. Theres a TV series being made and a 3D version of Clone Wars in the pipeline. Personally I'm pissing myself in anticipation.
Oh, and Lucas has gone on record to say he'll never make another movie again. Praise be.

Friend of mine showed me this won this morning...

Lucas approved fan film!? Praise the lord!
And now that a year has passed, can I say episode III is actually not
bad at all? In fact I rate it pretty high.
I went thru a sort of star wars rennaissance last year, started watching the films religiously again and even got SW trivial pursuit (which I will put money down against anyone on). And yes, my girlfriend calls me a fo*cking nerd daily. At least.

Yup, I love it. Same as Clones - as long as you skip the love scenes, they're both top films. God bless DVDs.

the dialogue in III was TERRIBLE
and ewan mcgregor was completely shameful
i thought it was enjoyable enough, but aspects of it were awful

i wish that whoever wrote the script for the clone wars cartoons had done the new movies. imo the cartoon pisses all over the live action ones.

Yes, but we really don't need another discussion about it. Lets have a group jerk off instead.

Sorry, but I don't want to play ookie cookie. But thaks for the offer.
I'd like to stick up for obi wan a little here...to me, watching the new trilogy the weak point isnt even jake lloyd any more....it's natalie portman. She skeevs me to no end. I thought hayden grew into his role in III (even tho in ep II he was AWFUL) and sorry, ewan just doesnt bother me. In fact he even reminds me of sir alec guinness at times.
Ep III adds a lot of continuity to the storyline.
\
And yes, Empire is still the best of the six. But to me ep III has gotta be 2nd. Too bad George lucas didnt have the sense to find a young harrison ford type.

Yup. And in my view Serenity pissed all over Star Wars full stop. If Lucas has any sense he'll get Joss Whedon to write the TV show
and Indy IV.
